LAGOS, YES or NO??

Lagos, home to 17,553,924 people. It is currently the second most populous city in Africa after Cairo, and is estimated to be the fastest growing city in Africa and the seventh fastest in the world. Lagos is quite popular for its music and night life. Lagos is a city for hustle and hard work. And as the popular saying goes, if you can make it in Lagos, you can make it anywhere. I’d like to use this medium to commend the present governor of Lagos, Babatunde Raji Fashola. That dude is doing so much in Lagos. Well if you had the opportunity to have been in Lagos 5years ago and you compare it to the “new Lagos”, you’ll see that Lagos has really gone a long way from where it started. Lagos would only keep getting better provided there’s a good leader. So, please vote wisely as the elections are coming up in 2weeks.

Back to the point, everyone should know by now that Lagos is most definitely not for everyone. Well, to know if Lagos is right for you or not, ask yourself the following questions:
Do you enjoy hustling?
Do you own a well air-conditioned car?
Are you skilled in bike flying?
Do you know corners/shortcuts in Lagos?
Do you enjoy seeing people fight on the road?
Do you understand and speak Yoruba fluently?
Do you know how to make a good bargain?
Can you stay on your feet for about 6hours?
Are you gifted in the art of lying?
Are you good at multi-tasking?
Well, if at least seven of your answers to these were yes then Congratulations!! Lagos is for you. But if your score was lower than seven and you are in Lagos at the moment, well, move out now!

*N.B. this is my first attempt at blogging, so I’d appreciate it if you leave a comment as you read. Thanks J
